Eli and Evan have been awaiting Bryn's arrival for a very long time. We have been prepping them for what life will be like when she's born and their new roles as big brother to little Bryn. They both are fascinated with her and have done pretty well in the new transition. We were a little worried about Evan since he is very clingy to Mommy and we thought he might have a hard time coming to the hospital to meet his sister and then having to leave Mommy. So, my parents brought Eli up by himself and he was so excited to see his new sister! He had a lot of questions and wanted to hold her. Overall, he did great that day.
We were pleasantly surprised with how Evan did when we finally came home from the hospital too. Other than a rough first night home with Evan, he has done amazingly well. Surprisingly, Eli has proven to be the one to be struggling to adjust. He is very emotional and has been acting out a lot, which is not typical for him. We know it'll take us all some time to adjust. Both boys are loving towards their baby sister and that has made us proud. They say all the time that they love their little sister and they both want to touch her all the time. We can't wait to see them all grow together.
