With the baby coming, we had to change some bedroom and sleeping situations around. The boys slept in the same room 99% of the time anyways, so it made sense to have them share a room. They were very excited about making it official though! Evan's room was the largest, so that is the room they now share. We painted it tan (so that we could use the same bedding and a lot of Eli's room décor we had), but we had to buy a twin bed so that we could fit 2 beds in that room. And of course that meant Evan got new bedding for his new (smaller) bed. They have a sports theme and it turned out really cute! Being in the same room yet having separate beds has been key for improved sleeping for both boys.
The baby will take the nursery that currently exists and Bryn will get the boot from that room and crib. All four have slept in that same crib and used that same furniture, so it is getting a lot of use! We'll keep the baby in our room for probably 2-3 months until we feel like Bryn is ready for a big bed. We painted Eli's old room lavender and are in the process of converting it into a big girl room for her. Pics to follow!
