We know that our traveling will be very minimal with 4 little kids soon, so we snuck in a trip to Evansville to see my parents and brother. It had been awhile since we last visited so it was a weekend getaway. It was the last couple days of the Fall Festival so of course we hit that up and ate until we couldn't move! The kids had a lot of fun eating the festival food, riding rides and playing games. Other than the festival, we all went on a nice long walk on the paved trail with Jake the dog, the kids played a ton outside (and got eaten alive my mosquitos), we enjoyed some good home cooked food and Cory and I snuck in a date to see the new Tom Hanks movie. A great visit!
The kids did so awesome on the drive down and pretty good on the drive home. :) I have been hearing so much lately how Evan and Bryn look alike and you can really see the resemblance in these pictures of them sleeping in the car!
