We had to find other things to do besides hang out on the beach for two reasons. 1) We all needed a break from the sand and sun. 2) It was chilly and very windy at times! I know I wasn't expecting that for the end of July, even in Michigan.
So....what to do, what to do! We walked to downtown, walked on the pier, got ice cream and treats, played at a park, went out to eat, shopped a little and we rode the trolley around Grand Haven. We found lots of ways to spend our time in a small town!
