We took a 4 night vacation to Grand Haven, Michigan. We have not been on a vacation in 3 years and we knew that since the kids are not good travelers, this destination being only 4 hrs away was ideal! The town was very neat and quaint and the beach was amazing!! Unfortunately, we learned pretty quickly that Bryn is not a fan of the sand. She wouldn't even put her feet in it...she cried and cried. So, she happily spent hours on a chair, in her beach tent or on a towel playing with dinosaurs. The weather was a bit chilly for some of the trip, but kids never seem to notice. Grandma and Grandpa came up for the last 2 days on the trip, so we were very lucky to have them there with us.
