My kids are very blessed to have such a loving, involved father. Cory is a wonderful dad and tries so hard to do the right thing when it comes to raising our kids. The boys miss him when he isn't home- even to the point of tears often! And when he comes home, it is a celebration! But Cory really struggles with the infant stage and the ability to soothe a fussy baby. It's not from lack of trying. Both Evan and Bryn have been a little bit challenging as babies and it seems that Mommy is the only one that can calm them. That is very frustrating for both Cory and I for different reasons. Cory says waaay too frequently that Bryn doesn't like him, but I remind him that she's only 2.5 months old. And this picture captures the truth! Look at her smiling at her dad lovingly. :) It's just a phase and soon she will be all about daddy like her brothers are now.
So lucky to have 2 Grandma's that love me!
