For the longest time when Eli would draw a picture for someone, he would just scribble. I never thought anything of it since he is so little. The other day we were practicing writing the letter Y when he told me he was going to draw a person. I said, "okay, buddy! Let's see it!" and sort of just sat back and watched. I was shocked!! This picture was without any prompting at all...I didn't tell him to draw a circle for the face or a curved line for the mouth. I didn't remind him of ears either. He did this completely on his own while I sat in silence. I was impressed!
