Eli at his new preschool!

Eli's preschool teacher emailed me this picture she took of Eli doing what he does best...using his imagination! She said he puts on that policeman hat every day and gives out tickets. He seems to get along with all kids and has a tendency to avoid those that are "troublemakers". Just recently his teacher commented on how Eli has great manners and is empathetic and quick to apologize if he feels like he did something wrong. She also said the kid's brain works a mile a minute and he gets soooo excited and wants to share every thought that comes to mind. He has a hard time waiting his turn (he hates the idea of raising your hand and said he wanted to go back to his old school where they didn't have to do that! ha!)    For some reason- not sure if it's his age or the school- Eli seems to be absorbing so much and wants to share what he did.  He doesn't just say, "I played" anymore like he used to.  He now tells us details of what they did and he'll teach us songs that he learned in school. It is so fun for all of us.

We're really happy with Trader's Point preschool! The school must tell because I was asked to be room parent, which I happily accepted.  I must have 'crazy mom' written all over my face.  His teacher is even trying to talk me into considering teaching preschool in the future. Wouldn't that be a drastic change from high school biology?!
