Eli and Evan spent Thurs through Sunday last weekend with Memaw and Pepaw while Cory and I got some much needed QT together. Bryn stayed with us and it was so nice to have that time with her. It was amazing how quiet the house was with just a baby! I especially appreciated the break from the boys and Mom and Dad loved having that time with their grandsons. Eli and Evan had so much fun and talked our ears off about their weekend- lots of playing outside, a trip to the Children's Museum, we heard Jake (the dog) stories, etc. We got a great report back- both boys did amazingly well. My parents, like me, aren't the type to sugar coat things...they would have told me if they had problems and/or if the boys were misbehaving, so Cory and I were so proud of them and happy to hear the news. We had anticipated tears on our way home and both have been asking when they can go back. We'll have to try to do this more often because it was good for everyone! The Showalter's have a weekend planned with them in May. They will be thrilled!
