Poor Evan

Our little Ev can't cut a break!  He woke up 10 days ago with a terrible rash covering his body.  I thought it was eczema making a return so I made an appointment with the pediatric dermatologist.  We found out that it wasn't eczema, but hives!   Poor guy is allergic to something!   It is a mystery what that is though.  The rash went away for about 2 days, yet reappeared worse than before.  He is miserable and scratching himself like crazy.  The pediatrician referred him to an allergist, but they couldn't get us in until July 8!!  Sigh.  Until then, we keep pumping him with Benadryl and Zyrtec, both of which aren't doing much for him.  I wish I can take this away from him.  Feeling helpless.
