After leaving Evansville, we drove to Goshen and spent a couple days with the Showalter family for Christmas. It was a nice, relaxing visit! We appreciated everyone waiting to celebrate until we arrived on the 26th. We had a nice time hanging out, going out to dinner (Essenhaus was amazing), and of course, celebrating Christmas together. We received a lot of great gifts and we appreciated everything! All of Eli's gifts from Grandma and Grandpa were Toy Story themed and Evan had a few gifts that he immediately gravitated to. They had fun playing with everyone and enjoying all of the attention. We enjoyed a little break from parenting! :)

The Buzz towel is adorable! Only problem is that it's designed for extremely short kids... so I had to crop this photo to keep everyone from seeing too much. :)

Post bath snuggles

Eli didn't get to fully check out this gift, a Buzz tent spaceship, until we got home. He and Evie both love it! They have spent a lot of time playing inside it. Actually, our cat Ziggi loves it too. We'll find her sleeping inside the tent often.

Too bad this picture didn't turn out better (stupid camera!). It was such a sweet moment. That's Eli hugging Grandma as she was looking at a calendar we made for her and Jeff (Granny received one too).

This toy is awesome! We hadn't even put it together yet and it was already grabbing Evan's attention.

We always joke that Sara and Jon take great photos with Eli, so it looks like they are the happy parents of a sweet little boy!

Here they are with Evan included. Two kids already! :) Actually, both boys adore Sara and Jon and I can't express how lucky we are to have them love our kids back.

Eli is over his "Pretty Sara" obsession, but he still thinks the world of her. Mommy gets pushed aside when Sara and Grandma are around!

Evan loves this Chicco driver from Grandma Shirley (Granny). He and Eli both play with it all the time.

Aunt Pattie, Jeff's sister, was in town from Florida. She is a ball of energy and just lights up the room when she's there. It took the boys a minute to warm up to such a lively person, but once they did they were in awe. They would have loved to spent more time with her, I'm sure!

Eli love his Granny

Uncle Tim was in town and it is always wonderful seeing him. Like Sara and Jon, he too is great with our boys and so loving. We are very lucky to have all of them in our lives.
