Tennessee Trip

My family (my parents and sister and her family) met in Pigeon Forge, Tennessee recently for a family get-together. We stayed in a gorgeous, 4-story cabin on the top of a very picturesque mountain. The cabin was amazing and was decorated so nice it should be in a magazine. It had a 12 seat theater inside, 9 flat-screen TV's, pool table, foosball table, air hockey, game room w/ a pocker table, hot tub outside, jacuzzi tubs in the bathrooms, a bar, etc etc. Words can't describe how beautiful everything was there- the scenery, the cabin, the waterfalls that we saw on our hikes, everything. Here are just some of the many pictures we took!

A little competitite go-carting is always fun!

Cory, Eli, my parents, and I went hiking three different days. Here is an example of the type of hiking we did! My sister, Michael, and their kids were with us for a little of the way this particular day, but they soon turned around and headed back to the cabin. It was just too tough for the little legs. Eli was hitching a ride on daddy's back, so he didn't know what the big deal was. :)
Stopping to enjoy the scenery.

I think my mom and I look a lot alike in this picture. My dad is just plain cute.

One of the beautiful water falls we saw on our hikes. Eli was snoozing in the backpack with his face covered, so he didn't make the picture.

What a tough guy to carry about 30 lbs on his back the entire time.

Grandkids and memaw and pepaw.

Mandi, Michael, Micayla, Brayden, Arden, and Melayna on our hike. They did great!

Hangin' with the shorties.

Our cabin..backside view.

Each level had a deck like this with rocking chairs facing the mountains.

Living room

Kitchen (isn't the all-wood look so pretty?)
